Kansai Center
This was taken during my last day at the Kansai Instiute from my room.
Since 2004, I imported JDM parts mainly for the Honda del Sol for American enthusiasts who were interested in sprucing up their cars with brand new parts. This lasted for several years until the events of March 11, 2011, when a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck the Northeastern coast of Japan devastating the region. Since then, Honda of Japan started to discontinue parts for cars popular during the 90s and availability of items quickly slowed to a trickle. Since newer cars made during the 2000s and 2010s were vastly different between Japan and the US, the opportunity to continue supplying parts dropped and ultimately that part of the site was closed down. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at delsol@lincorp.com.
Lately, my interests have shifted to photography and my travels around the world. I initially didn't like to travel too much, but since going to Japan several times to tour the cities in the Tohoku (Northeast) region, my desire to see new places and taste new foods has increased.
I also purchase many items from Amazon and would like to help people make informed decisions on their purchases based on my experience. Let's face it, there are just too many items questionable items being sold online so my goal is to help people get the most out of their hard earned dollars. To a lesser extent, I also buy different kinds of alchohol, mostly whiskey and bourbon and I want to share with others my taste for hard alchohol.
The slideshow below are a selction of photos from my collection that highlight my travels, mostly to Japan, photos taken locally and one of food. I hope to update this slideshow as I take more photos or find more worth sharing from my collection.
